Dimitrije is a Founding Partner and Attorney at law at Đukić Novakovći Law Firm. His area of expertise covers Domestic and International Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, Public International Law, Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, Domestic and International Sale of Goods and Company law. Other branches of law in which he has substantial experience are Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law.
In order to provide the very best service to his clients, Dimitrije participates in various domestic and international seminars, studies legal literature and monitors changes in legislation and practice of domestic and international institutions. To contribute to the development of new generations of lawyers with his knowledge and experience, since 2017 Dimitrije participates as an Arbitrator at the Belgrade Open Pre-Moot and as a Judge at the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition, in which he received the Best Judge Award in 2019.
During his undergraduate studies, he participated in various prestigious international Moot Court competitions held in The Hague and Vienna, in the fields of public international law, international criminal law, and international commercial arbitration. Together with his colleagues, Dimitrije achieved some of the best results for the University of Novi Sad in these competitions. Dimitrije also worked with younger students during his studies and coached the team of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad at the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition held in The Hague.
Dimitrije is a member of the Bar Association of Vojvodina and the Bar Association of Serbia. He is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of the German language.
